Xmeah ShaElaReEl

We met Xmeah around 1991 after we went to Lafayette, Louisiana and saw the "It'll Come True" exhibit.

We heard Xmeah and his wife had a storefront thrift store/church in their house in Beaumont, and we really liked his paintings and wanted to meet him. So, we set off for Beaumont and through a series of driving roads and asking folks; we finally found the house of Xmeah and his wife, Cherry.

Indeed they did have a thrift store where they raided dumpsters, alleys, and side-of-the road trash piles to find merch to sell and fund their lives and their ministry.

Xmeah said that he used to be a telephone repair man and one day was on call when the Lord came to him, changing his name to Xmeah ShaElaReEl and sending him out to preach.

Xmeah and his wife Cherry have amazing faith and each day they start with the lord leading them into the day and the ways of the day.

Xmeah was led to paint the message of God. Starting each painting with a word the Lord gave him, "Carrium" and the backwards date of when the message of the painting began. Most days he was led to paint these paintings for about 6 or more years. During this period each paintings could take a few days or up to many months.

We have not seen Cherry and Xmeah for many years now. The Lord had him move to another form of ministry and they left their house.

I am sure they are still out there preaching the word of God and representing the faithfull with full conviction. Most of us have faith in something, but rarely fill called to spread the word and share it with others. They are amazing and sweet people.
