Venzil Zastoupil aka the Toothpick King 1914 - 1999
The toothpick King began making toothpick sculptures after retiring. He started with 10,000 toothpicks, a bottle of Elmer's glue, and a photo of a Ferris Wheel. After 15 years of dedicated work, Venzil filled his living room with a mulitude of mechanical toothpick pieces. We are proud to give Venzil's creations a home in our front window. We light his pieces day & night, enjoy them every day, and although we may have to clean the windows more often, we think Venzil would be happy to know that his creations are enjoyed by people at all times.
