Krissy Teegerstrom is a Texan transplanted to New York, back to Texas, to the Bay Area, CA, and back to Texas. Hallelujah!
We were introduced to her work from our friends in Marfa who hosted her first big exhibit at the Do Right Hall.
It blew our minds.
Krissy explains she learned some basic sewing skills from her Grandmother then over the years took those and ran.
During 2020, with therapy and a vision, Krissy knew she needed to tell her story through a room of capes.
It was a deeply personal exhibit which overflowed with emotions executed in a beautiful and very skillful way.
A year or so down the road and we are still in wonder with what Krissy is creating and the stories she is telling.
We are thrilled to share her artwork!
